Varian Medical Systems Tender Specialist in Segrate, Italy

The Tender Specialist will live in and around the Milan area and work within a small team.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive responses to calls for tender

  • Review each call for tender with the responsible commercial person and in strict cooperation with other internal stakeholders

  • Prepare the administrative documentation and collect all documentation required by the tender procedures

  • Oversee all aspects of bid preparation to ensure bids are submitted in a timely manner and deadlines are met

  • Manage the tender submission process for formatting, completeness, consistency, reporting and compliance

  • Handle internal and external audits on tender process activities ensuring compliance with Varian standards and requirements

  • Carry out other administrative tasks for the commercial departments needed

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team, with proactive attitude and excellent organizational skills

  • Proven experience, interacting with various departments such as sales, service, finance, legal, marketing

  • Ideally from a medical device/technology sector, but we will consider canddiates with other sector exposure

  • Flexible and methodical approach

  • Self-starter, independent and proactive

  • Familiar with the use of CRM Systems

  • Good English, both written and spoken

  • Based in the Milan Area
