Do you have the industry background, business operations skills and strategic thinking needed to help further establish AWS as the leader in the industry?As the Industry Operations Leader for the Power and Utilities specialist teams within AWS, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape, support and deliver our strategy, as we continue to grow, scale and accelerate AWS adoption throughout the energy sector. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing mechanisms to support and drive industry scale for AWS. You will work closely with the vertical global leadership teams, regional go-to-market (GTM) and operations teams across the globe, and stakeholders in various functions across AWS. You must be comfortable working with cross functional and global teams in dynamic organizations, as many of the mechanisms you drive will have interdependencies with other teams within AWS. The right candidate has been successful in a business operations and strategy function for a 100+ person global organization in a cloud IT environment, possesses strong analytical skills, exceptional writing and communications skills, strong project and program management capabilities and a proven track record of simultaneously driving multiple priorities, a customer-focused approach, affinity for fast paced entrepreneurial environment, has a strong sense of ownership, and is detail oriented.The ideal candidate will have a sale and/ or business operations background, experience working with Utility customers or their suppliers, with a good understanding of legacy and emerging technologies. He/she should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business and GTM challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling mechanisms, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must.Role and Responsibilities- Serve as a key member of the Power and Utilities Business Development team to drive overall operational efficiency and participate with strategy planning- Design, execute and manage mechanisms to drive scale in industry reach for the AWS Power and Utilities undustry including virtual/cross-functional/matrix team engagement model (audience, forum, cadence, content, readiness, etc.)- Leverage standardized monthly Industry metrics reports and related analytical tools to provide the Industry leadership teams with relevant and timely insights, to effectively execute on business priorities; and identify additional data sources specific to the industry business, to leverage for insights to accelerate growth- Own monthly executive reporting for the industry vertical teams including coordinating preparation/submission- Program manage key planning cycles including tracking progress/completion and driving internal team reviews- Manage and curate content repositories for internal communications and stakeholder engagement, together with creation, maintenance, distribution and consumption of existing/new assets- Coordinate global and regional field enablement and engagement initiatives- Planning and management of team engagement at first and third party customer and internal events- Project manage marketing activities (playbooks, speaking engagements, industry content and updates, customer success stories, sales kick off content, etc.)- Initiate and execute special projects and programs that advance Industry Vertical competencies and capabilities within AWS.- Handle a high volume of engagements and interactions in the fast pace of the cloud computing market.Basic Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree* 5+ ye
