Amazon's Personal Computers team is looking for a bright, customer-obsessed, driven, and creative candidate to join our team. This person will join one of the largest categories and will be responsible for strategically growing one of our highest visibility vendors. The Vendor Manager will work with multiple internal teams to grow the vendor's sales on Amazon.com. Vendor Managers require a diverse skill-set applied to several different functional areas, including: site merchandising and online marketing, inventory and supply chain management, and negotiations and financial analysis, in order to drive the performance of Amazon's strategic vendors.Responsibilities include creation and analysis of marketing and site merchandising efforts (marketing campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO), social media and other channels) to grow the vendor's sales through Amazon.com. This role will autonomously negotiate promotional opportunities for vendors and create comprehensive marketing proposals. Strong communication skills are critical as Vendor Manager produce content published on Amazon's product detail pages. Additionally, this role is responsible for inventory management, forecasting, new product launches, and identification of business opportunities to drive the vendor's growth. In essence, a Vendor Manager acts as the general manager of a strategic vendor's business on Amazon.This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the most innovative online retailer and to develop and build strong functional skills in online merchandising/marketing, buying, planning and forecasting, and business analysis.
