You must think big and build a solution that can scale to meet the global needs of thousands of customers.You will be responsible for designing and implementing key architectures that drive initiatives to meet our B2B customers' needs and work with technologies to support large-scale distributed software systems that shape the Amazon retail infrastructure. As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be part of the larger technical leadership community at Amazon. This community forms the backbone of the company, plays a critical role in the broad business planning, working closely with senior executives to develop business targets and resource requirements, influences our long-term technical and business strategy and enables us to deliver innovative new solutions rapidly.Basic Qualifications* Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design* 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.* 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experienceAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
