JOB DESCRIPTION Job Number: 210421 Department: General and Thoracic Surgery Hours: 8:00-4:30Our General and Thoracic Surgery Clinic has a new opening for a full time Outpatient Clinic RN. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday- no weekends or holidays! This role is specifically for Esophageal Cancer coordination and thoracic surgery service line support. The responsibilities of the Registered Nurse includes:Coordinating and facilitating quality management of a broad based outpatient population across the continuum of care.Providing skilled triage and assessment, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources,Supporting the care team in the provision of patient care.Providing patient adviceAssisting in prioritizing daily work of the clinicProviding direction to team members, including oversight of Medical Assistant's clinical competency. Qualifications:Current Washington State licensure as an RNCPR certification is required every two yearsBachelors of Science of Nursing preferred, but NOT requiredStrong patient assessment skills, ability to work collaboratively in team setting, current working knowledge of electronic medical records.Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of RN experience.
