Our software is used by every country Amazon services, and is a critical link to ensuring the products our customers want are available when they need them.You will work with a focused team of engineers, engineering managers, senior engineers, BI engineers, and data scientists across teams to understand detailed business requirements, participate in the execution and delivery of various initiatives and projects. It is a unique opportunity to work on both a long-standing mission critical system as well creating a long-term vision to improve these systems and experiences. You need to be able to listen to both the customer and business to create requirements and think big to drive the vision forward.The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering software solutions to manage and enhance the Amazon world-wide retail ordering systems by successfully partnering with forecasting and buying, retail, fulfillment, inbound logistics, and finance teams to provide the most reliable and efficient ordering system. You should have a strong sense on business and product requirements combined with great communicate skills.As a Principal Technical Product Manager in this space, you will be responsible for maximizing supply availability by improving supplier facing systems, products and policies that power our upstream supply chain.Key Responsibilities* You will lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal teams and outside merchants and vendors to develop optimal solutions.* You will be expected to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.* The right candidate will possess a strong technical product management background, will have demonstrated experience leading large projects, and will have a well-rounded technical background.* You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
