Amazon Corporate LLC Principal Product Manager - Technical in Seattle, Washington

Are you looking for a high visibility, high impact role? Want to join a team that is in the early stages of rolling out an internal product that will be used across Amazon Web Services (AWS). The Worldwide Revenue Operations (WWRO) AWS Investments team is seeking a seasoned product leader for the AWS Investments platform. Our mission is clear, to make AWS sales the most efficient selling organization in the world. The AWS Investments platform will help us get there.In this role you will be responsible for crafting a vision, creating a strategy, defining the requirements, and delivering them on time and at the highest level of performance to help us achieve our mission. This role will expose you to every organization in AWS. It requires a deep understanding of the function and purpose of each organization, how it relates to the broader AWS mission, and how they use and measure the efficacy of their resources. To deliver results, you'll have to quickly jump from the macro-perspective into the details of delivery and execution. You are able to speak to business value in terms of technical features, and vice versa. This role requires an ability to build consensus and influence leaders across the organization. As such, you must be a strong written and verbal communicator.Who you are.You are creative and innovative, yet pragmatic and tactical. You have a proven history of making high-judgement decisions; making trade-offs between short term customer pain points and long term vision. You know how to use technology as a tool to solve complex business problems. As a product leader, you have an executive presence. You can sell your vision, and are willing to change it when new information challenges your hypothesis. You have experience working in or supporting sales and marketing in a large complex enterprise. You deeply understand the dynamics between products, the markets they serve, and how they get-to-market to serve them. You can speak to the health of a sales organization in terms of metrics and productivity. Most importantly, you are a team player that cultivates an inclusive, high performance environment that raises the bar for the team and Amazon.Primary responsibilities* Write business requirement documents* Write Product Release / Frequently Asked Questions (PRFAQ) documents* Develop annual Operating Plan (OP)* Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews* Define success metrics and plans to achieve them* Craft expertly defined product requirements and turn them into groomed user stories* Drive product roadmap and prioritization* Drive user acceptance testing (UAT)* Own customer satisfaction score* Ensure product meets Amazons relentlessly high operational excellence standards* Raise the bar for product management leadership in your organizationBasic Qualifications* 10+ years of software product management experience* Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant industry experience* Some experience working in or supporting enterprise sales and marketing organizations* Experience bringing new customer facing products or services to market by driving product requirements through a software development team using an agile development processes* Demonstrated experience influencing and collaborating across multiple teams in a large organization* Able to work in a diverse teamAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
