Globally each year, organizations lose tens of billions of dollars to online fraud. Amazon Fraud Detector (https://aws.amazon.com/fraud-detector/) is a new AWS service that uses ML and more than 20 years of fraud detection expertise from Amazon to identify potentially fraudulent activity so AWS customers can catch more online fraud faster.The Amazon Fraud Detector team is seeking a results-oriented, customer-centric Principal Product Manager (PMT-ES) to be the lead product management owner for the service. This role is responsible for defining the product strategy, including product vision through roadmap and prioritization, positioning, feature definition, and go-to-market/adoption.To be successful in this position, you must be passionate about solving customer problems, excited to take a customer-obsessed approach to growing a new service into a large business, and have a track record of success working backwards from ambiguous customer needs and translating them into disruptive, successful products that delight customers. In addition to formal mentors, we work and train together so that we are always learning from one another, and we celebrate and support the career progression of our team members.* 10+ years of product management experience across full product lifecycle* Engineering background (e.g., CS, CE, or other STEM degree, or equivalent experience)* Experience delivering enterprise level technology solutions across segments* Ability to think strategically and at the same time stay on top of tactical execution* Experience leading and influencing across teams of engineers, scientists, UX designers, marketers, field sales, and product managers.* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical knowledge to internal and external stakeholders.* Ability to ensure engineering teams are focused on the right solutions for the customer.* Understanding of distributed systems architectures, with a demonstrated ability to develop deep domain knowledge across front-end and back end applications, and customer interfaces.* Ability to dive deeply into technical details and drive constructive discussions with engineers.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
