19-Feb-2021 Executive Assistant 12248BRBusiness Management and OperationsWHAT YOU'LL DOIn this role, you'll ensure that the Managing Director and Partners (MDPs) and Partners you support have what they need to seamlessly serve the needs of our clients. This position involves booking (and unbooking) travel, scheduling (and rescheduling) meetings, keeping track of time and expenses, supporting the case team process, and generally keeping up with the fast pace of our Consulting Team. You will be working alongside a Seattle Administrative Team that consists of a group of really smart, highly motivated and team-oriented people. EAs actively participate in office life, are flexible and willing to help fellow Business Services Team (BST) members, and collaborate across functions. They serve as mentors to more junior members of the admin team and are continuously learning from each other. Your career at BCG will be at the intersection of your skills and desires and the needs of our business; it will only be limited by your investment.YOU'RE GOOD ATOverseeing administrative support in a fast-paced, high volume, and changing client service environment:Organizing and scheduling client and internal meetings and eventsCoordinating point-to-point travel needs as necessary including booking all travel and hotels, directions, commuting time and ground transportationProcessing timesheets and expenses on a timely basisSupporting administrative aspects of MDP and Partner internal commitments: practice area activities, BCG leadership committees, recruiting, etc.Assisting MDPs and Partners with account planning and client relationship managementBuilding effective working relationships with key stakeholders:MDPs and Partners - understand preferences relating to travel, calendar, client work, etc.Clients and their Assistants - facilitate the scheduling process and relevant communications with friendly professionalism and high attention to detailEA and AA peers - work together to support other Principals, Partners and BST leaders on the case team; provide back-up assistance as neededBST peers and internal resources - obtain and share information with wider team as needed; help case team navigate internal resourcesPerforming other duties as assigned or required; responsibilities will varyYOU BRING (EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS)Bachelor's degree, strongly preferredDemonstrated leadership and/or customer service experienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in a fast paced environment (really fast paced!), supporting senior executives, strongly preferredThere are a few key things we look for - do you have what it takes to step into these shoes?High customer service orientation - highly responsive, strong interpersonal and communication skills, wants to deliver great results at all timesCommitted to improving the status quo - we respect and hire people who are willing to ask questions, people who will say what's on their minds and are willing to make suggestions, even if it is turned downSweats the small s
