Cisco Director of Product Management - Healthcare in Seattle, Washington

Do you want to be part of the next wave of transforming healthcare from the ground up? Want to help doctors provide the best level of care for patients throughout the world? COVID-19 has driven up the bar for how healthcare needs to be coordinated and delivered to patients and their families. Now more than ever, the right technology solutions are critical to keeping people healthy and saving lives. Hospitals, clinics and doctors worldwide are fast re-evaluating how they will meet the ever-changing needs of the healthcare industry and Cisco is going to be part of that change.

What You'll Do

You will lead a team of dynamic and high-energy Product Managers tasked with building and positioning Cisco’s Collaboration products and technology to power healthcare delivery around the globe. You’ll be working with healthcare providers and systems to ensure that technology enables better delivery and quality of patient care. Cisco’s portfolio of products, from our video meetings, calling, messaging to hardware devices will be critical to providing the best possible end-to-end experience for clinicians, patients and their families. It will be your remit to determine how we approach bringing this to the global healthcare industry! And note - Healthcare is not just Telehealth, it is inclusive of many types of care: from in-hospital care delivery such a post-op patient monitoring, through to virtual visitation and consultation at-home.

As the Product Manager lead for our Healthcare team, you’ll also be responsible for working with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure that the Cisco Healthcare story and strategy land with the right customers in the right way. Similarly, our success is dependent on your work with our rich partner ecosystem. You will need to build a robust and complete set of solutions built atop the Cisco Collaboration platform to meet the many varied needs our customers may have.

Who You'll Work With

You will be working with a group of experienced and talented Product Managers, Engineers, and healthcare industry architects and experts from around the globe. The team will consist of a unique blend of Product Managers and experts; from energetic fresh-from-college hires to seasoned industry experts that have worked with cloud services and customers for years.

Who You Are

You must be someone that loves hard problems and fast-paced innovation. At Cisco Collaboration, we work with such a wide variety of partners, customers and users that no two problems, or even days, are the same! Our day-to-day is a blend of innovation, measured risk taking and high-speed work. To be successful, you'll want to be an independent thinker as well as collaborator. You must be passionate about contributing to a larger picture, and helping to coordinate the chess pieces to make sure we play our best game. You must also be able to prioritize among multiple projects and be an exemplary communicator, standout colleague and strive for self-improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or direct experience with technology in healthcare
  • 7+ years of proven Product Management experience, including management/leadership experience
  • Experience working in massively cross-team projects and with demanding customers and ISV/ecosystem partners
  • Must demonstrate strong communication and team collaboration skills including conflict resolution
  • Experience with Healthcare industry & technology (protocols like FHIR & HL7, EMRs like Epic Systems & Cerner) is strongly desired, though strictly not necessary

We Are Cisco

#WeAreCisco, where each person is unique, but we bring our talents to work as a team and make a difference. Here’s how we do it.

We embrace digital, and help our customers implement change in their digital businesses. Some may think we’re "old" (30 years strong!) and only about hardware, but we’re also a software company. And a security company. An AI/Machine Learning company. We even invented an intuitive network that adapts, predicts, learns and protects. No other company can do what we do - you can’t put us in a box!

But "Digital Transformation" is an empty buzz phrase without a culture that allows for innovation, creativity, and yes, even failure (if you learn from it.)

Day to day, we focus on the give and take. We give our best, we give our egos a break and we give of ourselves (because giving back is built into our DNA.) We take accountability, we take bold steps, and we take difference to heart. Because without diversity of thought and a commitment to equality for all, there is no moving forward.

So, you have colorful hair? Don’t care. Tattoos? Show off your ink. Like polka dots? That’s cool.
