A talented manager excited to usher in a new era of digital finance with experience leading projects and/or teams. You’re a problem-solver with the keen ability to diagnose a client’s unique needs. You can see the gap between where they are and where they need to be, and love creating a blueprint to get them there.
Help clients modernize their finance functions by consulting with internal and external teams to understand strategy and goals, then managing your teams’ workflows
Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Create strategies and blueprints that use machine learning to improve operations and refine processes (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report)
Walk clients through as-a-Service business transformations, help them enable and new go-to-market models and operationalize the changes required by the finance organization (e.g. bookings, revenue recognition, billing, credit management, forecasting, planning, etc)
Find Cloud ERP and EV solutions for clients and share best practices across the industry
Attract new business by creating thoughtful proposals and building strong client relationships
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
Stay on top of current regulations, trends, and technologies influencing digital finance, analytics, and the CFO ecosystem
Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, manage account receivables, define deliverable content, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
Manage teams of diverse backgrounds, skill sets and technical/functional knowledge. Encourages creative and innovative thinking from team members while helping them to bring their ideas and career plans to fruition. Works across the global CFO & Enterprise Value practice to share lessons learned and best practices.
Implement and execute structured decision-making. Act independently to determine best possible methods and procedures to deliver against CFO & Enterprise Value assignments.
Racking up those air miles will have to wait, as weekly non-essential travel to client sites Monday through Thursday is currently suspended. Here’s what you need:
5+ years of finance and management consulting experience. Experience must include significant project management as well as business, practice, and people development.
Minimum 5+ years’ experience with finance functions (analytics, forecasting, core finance), including operating models, supporting organization structures, and process best practices
Bonus points if:
You have experience with transitioning organizations to as-a-Service business models; especially with an understanding of implications for internal/external reporting, OTC processes, and Revenue Accounting.
You’ve implemented finance, accounting, planning, forecasting, or reporting solutions with clients
You’re comfortable with ERP technology and know your way around SAP, Oracle, Workday
You’ve got an MBA or another type of advanced degree
