If you want to be part of this important mission, we want to hear from you.Supports and leads process improvements to Varian's design and development procedures and training material for hardware and software products.Supports and implements improvements to RandD's Design and Development process framework, which impacts Varian's software and hardware product portfolioShall lead the analysis, identification, and implementation of process improvements within Product Life Cycle's documentation, training material, and software tools Lead improvement initiatives that shall require stakeholder facilitation and the collection of inputs and requirements at all organizational levels from individual contributors to executives Collaborate with cross functional teams in a multicultural environment across multiple global sites and time-zonesSupport the authoring and maintenance Product Life Cycle related procedures and learning contentMay act as a subject-matter-expert on Design and Development processes as part of internal and external Audits by Regulatory Bodies Job RequirementsHas several years of experience in a RandD or Medical Device product development environment Ability to work across different time-zonesAbility to work collaboratively in teams and communicate tactfully and effectivelyEmbodies a mindset of learning, ownership, and collaborationMust demonstrate successful project leadership and experience working in cross functional teamsHome-office possibilities, and any travel to other locations worldwide shall be less than 5% out of the yearQualificationsB.S. or B.A in Engineering or Sciences field Minimum of 3 years working in RandD or a Medical Device related environmentExperience with SAP PLM, and/or other Document/Change Control Management SystemsOpportunity for applicant to grow into this position shall be consideredFighting cancer calls for big ideas.We envision a world without fear of cancer.
