ITS Technologies & Logistics Depot Manager in Seattle, Washington

ITS ConGlobal provides intermodal depot services in the US and Central America, operating at 24 depots and 7 Marine Terminals. We take pride in consistently delivering superior and reliable service to a wide range of Customers, a broad scope of services, and an exemplary safety record.
The Depot Manager is responsible for safe and efficient operations; to plan, direct and coordinate activities related to inspection, repair, maintenance, and storage of intermodal equipment (containers, chassis, refrigerated containers, gensets, etc.), and equipment sales. The Depot Manager will develop and lead a highly effective team which is responsible to provide excellent service to internal and external Customers. The Depot Manager is an important role which can be an extremely challenging and rewarding position.
Responsibilities
Depot Manager
Provides day-to-day management of employees to ensure a safe and productive workplace
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements as well as corporate policies and procedures
Monitors operational activities to ensure KPIs are within acceptable standards
Meets customer needs and commitments
Oversees procurement to ensure working inventory is on hand and accounted for
Develops & maintains budget, identifies and communicates operational/financial adjustments
Partners with the team to establish goals and objectives for the operation; production, profitability, safety, and compliance which align with goals for the region and business unit
Monitors & evaluates performance, provides feedback to employees in an effective manner
Identifies local business opportunities and develops impactful relationships
Works with local Union representatives, communicates with Labor Department
Participates in community and industry functions as necessary to promote ITSC

Qualifications
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Relevant industry experience with a minimum 5 years of successful management experience
Thorough understanding of the operation and maintenance of intermodal equipment, including but not limited to dry and reefer containers, trailers and chassis
Basic financial acumen, handling and accounting of expenses, revenue, and inventory
Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
Excellent communication skills are mandatory
Proficient in Outlook and MS Office suite of products
Strong Work Ethic
Open availability
