Our organization is looking for a proactive, highly motivated, and data-driven Collections Specialist to join our ever-growing team.   • Receive all customer payments in the accounting system.

  • Responsible for managing collection activities for approximately 600 customer accounts in North America and Internationally.

  • Perform weekly AR aging analysis to identify delinquent accounts and monitor collection progress.

  • Conduct collections campaigns that consist of emails, phone calls, and standard mail correspondence on a regular cadence.

  • Develop proactive collection methods that consistently lead to achieving or exceeding company goals for past due customer accounts.

  • Maintain detailed records of all delinquent accounts by logging collection notes in systems.

  • Send monthly customer statements.

  • Resolve billing and credit issues with the AR team.

  • Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress to Finance and Management team.

  • Perform credit checks on customers periodically and generate reporting to document those results.

  • Constantly evaluate processes and suggest and implement improvements and efficiencies with Manager approval.

  • Write, update, and maintain technical process documents for assigned tasks.

  • Assist in special projects as needed.

  • Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, and develops realistic action plans.


  • Bachelor?s degree in accounting or business, or a minor in business, accounting or finance with relevant experience.

  • Full proficiency in Excel, including Pivot tables and V-Lookups.

  • 2 years+ collections experience in established middle-market companies.

  • Experience with multiple currency transactions.

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of collection laws and regulations.

  • Skilled in the use of enterprise-level accounting software, GSuite, Slack, Microsoft Excel, SalesForce.
