Provides developmentally appropriate clinical care and advocacy for patients and families by applying knowledge and skill that promotes healing, prevents significant developmental disruption, and reduces psychological stress.
Please note: this position is limited term, part time and benefits eligible
Bachelor’s degree in Child Life, Child Development or related field.
Must obtain Certified Child Life Specialist certification within one year of employment.
Eligibility for Child Life Certification includes completion of a minimum of 480 hours of child life clinical experience under the direct supervision of a Certified Child Life Specialist.
Experience working with infants, toddlers, school-age children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.
