Join us, and find out how many ways Virginia Mason offers you the chance to focus on what really matters - our patients.This position administers staffing for the hospital on a daily basis according to acuity and patient census and is responsible for human resources issues such as recording and communicating sick leave to appropriate department managers, maintaining schedule changes and gathering/reporting data relating to productive and nonproductive work hours. This position also coordinates the placement of hospital patients through maintenance of a current on line database of patients and their locations, and an availability status of beds throughout the hospital.Qualifications:This position requires a working knowledge of medical terminology, insurance plans, computer applications and organizational policies and procedures related to the admission process and staffing needs.
