CVS Health Agile Full-Stack Software Engineer in Scottsdale, Arizona
The full stack engineer as part of an agile team owns inception, development and digital product delivery, while adhering to agile principles put forth. The team also may own, manage running application in production and becomes accountable for the success of the digital product through achieving key performance metrics.
Participates in product scoping, discovery and helps translates user features into application design
Leads and participates in iteration planning to help create solid backlog with technical input in close partnership with product team
Contributes and participates in daily cross functional team standups, end of iteration retrospectives while encouraging team engagement with empathy
Helps lead the effort of shaping product architecture and design through collaboration and strategy alignment with product teams and other stakeholders from across portfolio with customer needs in mind
Serves as liaison helping team solve technical challenges and choose right technology and practices
Establishes continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous deployment pipelines and practices
Helps lead daily agile practice to help messaging team to grow and mature through increased adoption and knowledge sharing
3+ years experience in Agile software development
3+ years of developing and implementing systems at scale
hands on experience in designing and implementing large scale distributed systems
Hands on experience with distributed version control systems ( git ), build and package systems ( maven, gradle ) and continuous integration tools ( Jenkins, Concourse )
Experience with automated testing frame works like junit, mockito, jasmine and protractor
Knowledge and experience on approaches and tools for monitoring and alerting
A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field required.
