Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Asc in Schriever AFB, Colorado

Description: Would you like to be a part of a diverse and growing

systems engineering team which contributes to the

development of a system which is critical to our

National Defense? As a systems engineer at the

X-Lab on C2BMC, a selected candidate will perform a

disciplined system engineering approach to the

definition, development, and analysis of the

integration of external elements capability with

C2BMC. A successful candidate will help their team

work towards future capabilities such as sensor

management, tasking, cueing, and discrimination

architectures. Within this role a candidate will

participate in developing, executing, and analyzing

the results of various tests of the software in a lab

environment as needed.

A small amount of travel may be required.

This job requires a final secret clearance.

The job work location is at Schriever AFB.

Basic Qualifications:

***ACTIVE Secret Clearance***

The Basic qualifications include:

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related

discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Entry level.

- An understanding of systems engineering, systems

design and development

- An ability to analyze high level needs and through

a structured and logical approach refine the need into

an integrated set of requirements that leads to a

fielded product.

- Knowledge of Windows Office applications required

Desired Skills:

The Desired Skills for this position include:

- An introductory experience of command and

control systems

- An introductory experience in Battle Management


- An introductory experience of Unix operating


- An introductory experience in ballistic missile track

correlation algorithms a plus.

- Any experience in Ballistic Missile Defense is highly


- An introductory experience in developing,

executing, and analyzing the results of various tests of

software in a lab or similar environment

- Excellent communications skills (written and oral)
