Keep in mind this program is a valuable benefit for the students of current employees but the overall reason for the program is the business necessity to cover for vacations during the summer. The followingguidelines areused to run this program,though this list may not be all inclusive: 1. The student must be a dependent of a current employee and must turn 18 onor beforeMay 7, 2021to work on the shop floor. 2. Students must be enrolled in school for the fall semester. 3. Pre-employment drug tests will be conducted each time a student is brought back to work. 4. Students working in the shop must follow the rules and regulations in the contract including paying union dues. 5. Students working in the shop must be willing and able to work any shift. If a student is not open to working any shift they will not be offered employment. Summer employment is not a seniority based system. The student will be placed where we need the vacation coverage and the student will have the best chance to be successful. 6. Students will not be working in the same area as their parent. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the company. 7. The student is responsible for their own transportation. If they are restricted by carpooling, then priority will be given to other students without restrictions. 8. Each student will have a performance evaluation conducted at the end of their term and will receive performance feedback throughout the summer. Students who have not performed at an acceptable level will not be invited back subsequent summers. 9. Students should not plan on coming back during breaks. Bringing students back over breaks is at the discretion of the company and is based on business need. 10. During the hiring process, Human Resources will not discuss with parents the individual merits or qualifications of their children. Each student will be evaluated based on their own merit and positions will be awarded based on their qualifications. There is no preference given to the seniority of the parent. 11.
