Directs telephone traffic according to the nature of the call. Performs clerical support duties as assigned. * Receives incoming calls and routes them appropriately. * Receives service recipients/visitors as they enter the lobby and determine the nature of their business and assists/directs them as appropriate and necessary. * Performs clerical support i.e.: typing, filing, mailing, data entry, and ordering supplies as directed. 2) Represents the Agency in all interactions with other members of the Goodwill community and with the general public, supporting the agency Vision of creating sustainable communities that thrive through the fullest participation of their diverse residents. 3) Furthers the organizational commitment to triple bottom line results: integrating social, economic and environmental goals into thinking, planning and actions. Essential Functions Communication: * Receives incoming calls and routes them appropriately. * Receives service recipients/visitors as they enter the lobby and determine the nature of their business and assists/directs them as appropriate and necessary. * Communicates effectively and courteously when dealing with colleagues, service recipients, parents, guardians and other interested parties. Knowledge: * Communicates information with team members, service recipients, family members, payors, and other stakeholders in a manner that is understandable and helpful. * Contributes to team effort by demonstrating a positive attitude and by providing support and information to other staff and managers. * Exhibits sound and accurate judgment evidenced by identifying problems, reviewing aspects with appropriate staff and managers, and developing timely and alternative solutions. Administration: * Performs clerical support i.e.: typing, filing, mailing, data entry, and ordering supplies as directed.
