Engineering Scheduling & Tracking Analyst IIin GAC SavannahUnique Skills:Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Project. Previous experience in project scheduling preferred.Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 4 years data processing, planning, sched/tracking, or related analytical experience utilizing project mgmt tools. Requires proven experience with PC based software such as Excel,Project,Access,Word/PPT.Position Purpose:Under limited supervision, develops systems/programs/macros to track Engineering data and facilitate development of performance measurement charts and reports. Analyzes data to create weekly and monthly measurement charts for the Engineering organization, functional groups, and various manufacturing build teams.Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions: 1. Maintains tracking data with various Engineering systems, special projects, and other activities as necessary. 2. Analyzes data from various Engineering sources and prepares analysis reports for management decisions. 3. Responsible for developing, preparing, and maintaining Project Engineering schedules. 4. Participates in the implementation of new technology by gaining knowledge of application systems analysis and programming. 5. Monitors project performance to ensure project schedules and goals are met. 6. As subject matter expert, provides technical support and reports on scheduling matters.Additional Functions: 1. Participates in the development, continuous improvement, and documentation of departmental process and procedures.
