Job DescriptionJob Tasks:Manages projects in a fiscally sound mannerManages timelines in accordance with the project scheduleRecognizes team dynamics challenges and acts appropriately to keep the project team focused and working effectively togetherQuickly develops understanding of the business and the challenges it facesIdentifies strengths and weaknesses and makes recommendations for improvementsDevelops, reviews or edits requirements, business processes and recommendations related to projects and or process improvementsDevelops functional specifications for projectsWorks closely with business partners to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve service and/or business processesUnderstands system functionality to ensure that proper procedures and best practice are maintainedAdvocates the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of defects, ensures the business process reengineering has an appropriate level of change management and testingElicits solution requirements using interviews, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, task and workflow analysisDevelops effective reporting tools for the business unitLeads or participates in testing effortsLeads a variety of projects using structured project methodologies.Works on complex business problems, analyzing and documenting current systems and business processes to determine process or system needs that will improve performance and/or increase efficiency.Confers with technical or functional experts at all levels, company-wide, to obtain requirements and develop solution proposals.Facilitates the development of functional specifications for systems to meet business requirements.Coordinates and completes integration and user acceptance testing.Performs business analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining.Determines best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations for the current business operations.Works directly with the internal or external client to identify analytical requirements.Create or oversee the creation of ad hoc data and reports.May assist in implementing or developing systems to capture business operation information.Identifies, tracks and reports on issues; including their resolutionWorks with internal customers to identify changes neededChannels communications consistently and effectivelyMinimum Education/Certifications:Bachelor's DegreeMinimum Experience:4+ years as an individual contributor in business operations, data reporting and analyticsSystem implementation, upgrade and integration experienceExperience in a fast paced, external facing Customer Support departmentExperience with functional and/or technical aspects of enterprise software packages and custom development (Erecruit, data warehouse, etc.)Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships in team environments and with other business organizationsPreferred Experience:LEAN or Business Process RE-engineering experience and/or certificationRespect*Passion*Continuous Improvement*Trust*Customer Focus*InnovationAMN Healthcare is committed to fostering and maintaining a diverse team that reflects the communities we serve.
