responsibilities:
Senior Tax Analyst will prepare the U.S. federal, state, and foreign corporate income tax returns in a timely and accurate manner
Senior Tax Analyst will track the Company's fixed assets for tax depreciation purposes
Senior Tax Analyst will calculate, review and file quarterly tax estimates and extension payments
Support the close process and other general accounting functions including account analysis, reconciliation, the generation of tax entries for entry into the ERP system
Document and monitor internal tax controls
Provide direct support to the Tax Manager on a daily basis addressing notices, handling tax payments and mailings, and communicating with other business associates
Senior Tax Analyst will maintain tax records and respond to data requests of external advisors and develop and streamline procedures and worksheets
Calculate the quarterly and annual tax provision
Prepare the financial statement tax footnotes and Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) language for the quarterly and annual public financial filings
Ensure compliance with all foreign, federal, state and local tax laws and regulations
Work with businesses unit leaders to develop and implement tax efficient transfer pricing policies
Manage tax audits, by providing information and assist the tax team in defending the Company's tax positions
Assist in preparation of accurate forecasts for tax expense and cash taxes
Monitor federal and state tax legislation, regulations, and judicial activities
Continuously identify ways to improve processes and automate them when possible, including collaboration with other departments to implement and achieve the improvements
qualifications:
BBA in Accounting is needed
CPA is a plus and MST is a plus
5+ years large corporate tax experience (2 or more years Big 4 public accounting tax experience)
Must have experience preparing/reviewing Federal and State and Foreign income tax returns
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
Experience with OneSource Tax Provisions
Must be deadline driven and detailed oriented
