Role:

The Manager, Supply Chain Planning Processes and Systems (Manager, Supply Chain) will develop solutions for Supply and Operations Planning, Rough-Cut Capacity Planning and Materials Planning. The successful candidate must have five years of experience in a regulated industry, exhibiting a combination of experience in Project Management, System Engineering and Supply Chain Planning. S/he will combine solid eye for business, technical knowledge and creativity to guide process and system enhancements supporting Kite's Cell Therapy Supply Chain Planning Organization. The primary focus will be to use Kite's approved Advanced Planning Platform, Kinaxis RapidResponse, to facilitate the End-to-End Supply Chain Planning Process.

The Manager of Supply Chain role will be based in Kite Pharma's Santa Monica office while supporting the global planning organization in Southern California, Maryland and the Netherlands.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science or Operations Research; advanced degree (MS/MBA) preferred

  • At least 3 years of experience supporting an advanced planning platform (Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP APO/IBP, JDA); Foundational knowledge of Kinaxis RapidResponse preferred

  • At least three years Supply Chain Planning experience in a regulated environment

  • Proven analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application, operational requirements and ultimately actionable data

  • Experience developing and delivering training curriculum

  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Collaboration is a required skill

  • Ability to work independently leading small to medium projects

  • Light travel (to other sites)

Preferred:

  • Supply Chain Certification (APICS CPIM, APICS CSCP, ISM CPSM, ASQ CSSBB)

  • Experience with data modeling and authoring/tuning queries (SQL, PL/SQL, Transact-SQL)

  • Programming experience with an object oriented language (JavaScript, Java, Python, C++)

  • Experience with mixed integer programming models

  • Ability to understand and deliver solutions based on user requirements.
