The Walt Disney Company Manager, Sales Enablement in Santa Monica, California

Disney Advertising Sales drives the advertising revenue across platforms for the entire media portfolio – including ABC, ESPN, Hulu, Freeform, FX, National Geographic, Disney Channels Worldwide, and more. The Sales Enablement teams missions is to provide unified client service experience with ease and automation to more effectively drive revenue. Our CRM Team provides sales with streamlined tools and process needed to more effectively manage sales pipeline, deal analytics and customer relationship management.

The Manager, Sales Enablement plays a key role in supporting the growth of Disney Advertising Sales CRM Platform. This individual’s responsibility include, but are not limited to:

Manage the technology backlog related to SalesHub ( requirements for the Disney Ad Sales organization:

  • Ensure alignment with technology and consulting teams on Technology backlog serving as liaison between Sales, Revenue Operations and other stakeholders needs and requirements

  • Prioritize and communicate Sales requirements to the Ad Platform organization in a thoughtful and organized fashion

  • Review new functionality and sign-off prior to milestones

  • Develop and Ensure technology teams have captured accurate requirements

  • Review new functionality prior to releases and ensure testing with user community is completed with sign-off prior to milestones

  • Drive accountability around workstream and release timelines

  • Manage any escalations throughout the process to support on-time delivery

Become trusted partner for all CRM users, with particular emphasis on Sales teams

  • Work with Sr. Manager to develop SME/Change Agent network of key users

  • Organize feedback sessions with user community to continually improve reporting and capture needs

  • Improve and streamline communications to Sales on new releases and platform updates

  • Work with counterparts and leader to ensure consistent message to user community

Be passionate about everything CRM can do for a sales organization

  • Be an advocate for best practices and capabilities to improve Sales Management and Communications through CRM

  • Be current on features and functionality on the Salesforce Roadmap

Develop materials to automate onboarding for new users and provide excitement about CRM

  • Plan and schedule training sessions in conjunction with the Learning and Development department

  • Lead Material creation in a concise and learner friendly manner

  • Lead learning sessions to engage the user community

Develop strategy for efficient methods to scale training across Sales org

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a product management, vendor management or planning role and 7+ years combined business and online digital experience

  • Degree in Business Management, Product Development, Computer Science or related field; MBA or equivalent a plus.

  • A solid understanding of Digital businesses and media markets/business models

  • Thorough understanding of digital advertising and related technologies; Operative, Google Ad Manager and/or systems integration and/or implementation experience a plus

  • Prior experience integrating internal work and resources with outside vendors/partners

  • Proven track record of managing business needs against technology requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to take concepts from definition to development and launch

  • Experience with managing enterprise software, infrastructure services and/or software as a service offerings

  • Experience creating product roadmaps, MRDs, PRDs and written product evaluations

  • Ability to anticipate, identify and articulate the impact of emerging industry trends on the business

  • Experience working in a large enterprise, while also knowing how to be a very hands on manager and sole contributor

  • Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal and problem solving communication skills

  • Experience working with cross functional teams in matrix environment

  • Excellent relationship management and negotiating skills

  • Passion for understanding and serving the unique Disney community
