Cornerstone onDemand Benefits Coordinator - Remote (United States) in Santa Monica, California

Cornerstone OnDemand is looking for a highly motivated Benefits Coordinator to join the Total Rewards team! Under the guidance of the Senior Total Rewards Manager, this role will be critical in employee benefits education, daily administration of Cornerstone’s plans, and assisting in the enrollment process.

In this role you will…

  • Process employee enrollments for medical, dental, vision and other benefit plans through HRIS

  • Respond to employee inquiries and work closely with insurance providers on resolution

  • Support leave of absence program, which includes parental benefits, tracking, employee relations, and filing for disability claims

  • Consult with employees about eligibility changes, explanation of benefits, and other benefit related topics

  • Facilitate company perks program for service awards, employee recognition, fringe benefits, etc.

  • Create and reconcile benefit carrier invoices

  • Engage with employees and market benefit offerings through internal posts and company intranet

  • Provide ongoing support for Total Rewards team

    You’ve got what it takes if you have…

  • 2+ years demonstrated experience working in the HR field, experience working in benefits highly preferred

  • Knowledge of employee benefits and applicable state and federal laws

  • Experience using ADP as a benefit enrollment software is preferred

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across functional groups and business units

  • Strong communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills. Provides others with reliable information and delivers informative and persuasive presentations. Uses good listening skills and negotiates effectively.

  • Ability to innovate in a fast-growing work environment and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and sometimes highly-charged situations

  • Project management, ability to break down bigger projects into smaller tasks and organize different resource to accomplish and deliver results.

  • Skilled with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Flexible and adapts well to rapid change
