As a Regional Sales Director - US and Canada, you will be responsible for driving sales of LotusFlare?s products and services to C-level executives in the United States and Canada. You will be the primary point of contact and leader of LotusFlare?s sales initiatives in this region with the aim of achieving key strategic goals. This role is focused on sales of software solutions to executives at mobile and cable operators, media and Internet companies.
Manage end-to-end sales funnel, including generating new leads, creating opportunities, qualifying prospects, preparing proposals, responding to RFPs and driving deals to closure
Develop and maintain relationships with senior executives in the telecom, media and Internet domains
Look to expand successful accounts and grow the North American business
Track invoices, POs, SOWs and contract paperwork
Prepare regular reports on account status to communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly targets to internal and external stakeholders
Work independently and proactively with minimal supervision
Once a deal is closed help on-board the customer and hand-over to the account management and customer delivery team
Delight your customers and drive customer references and case studies
Work cross-functionally with LotusFlare Marketing, Product Management, Account Management and technical colleagues
5+ years experience in selling to C-level executives of Telecom operators
Experience in delivering against a plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, and often ambiguous environment
Comfortable with demos, proposals, RFPs, contracts, SOWs, POs, invoices and the ?nuts and bolts? of commercial sales for enterprise software projects
Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written English)
Established ?Rolodex? of executive contacts in relevant companies
BS or BA in Economics / Business / Management / Marketing or another related field. MBA a plus
You are a digital savvy individual that knows the latest digital technologies and trends; you experiment and are open to integrating new digital technologies in everyday work
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Flexible to be able to work in global timezone as needed
Significant travel (about 30%) expected
