SeekingiFull-Time Occupational Therapistifor Leading Post-Acute Facility iniSanta Ana, CA!Therapy Specialists has a wonderful opportunity in Santa Ana, CA for an Occupational Therapist looking to work a Full-Time position in Post-Acute Care! South Coast Post Acute is a 5 Star 178-bed facility and Southern California's leading post-acute provider that delivers innovative post-hospital nursing and rehabilitation therapy to their patients.The schedule for the position will be Tuesday through Saturday for up to 8 hours per day. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced team of professionals who work together to provide multi-faceted care aimed at helping patients achieve their goals and return to life's activities that are most meaningful to them!Position Requirements:An active Occupational Therapist (OT) License in California.A minimum of one year of experience in Skilled Nursing or Post-Acute Facility is preferred, but New Grads with applicable clinical experience are welcome to apply!Casamba EMR experience is preferred.Good communication skills with the ability to multi-task and attend to detail.Ability to efficiently complete all paperwork and documentation in a fast pace facility that has constant admissions and discharges.Floating to nearby sister facilities in Anaheim and Mission Viejo, as needed.Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Screening, evaluating, and providing treatment to patients in the following areas: Joint replacements, traumatic musculoskeletal injuries, stroke, neurologic issues, cardiovascular issues, cognitive issues and medically complex patients.Providing staff in-services and caregiver and family training, as needed.Communicating with other disciplines, nursing, and facility staff as needed.Completing thorough documentation and managing paperwork efficiently with independence.Effectively communicating with the interdisciplinary team regarding goals and outcomes based on plan of care.Supervising COTAs and effectively communicating with COTAs and the interdisciplinary team regarding goals and outcomes based on plan of care.Why Therapy Specialists?Founded in 1976 by Susan J.
