Neotech Equipment Maintenance Coordinator in San Marcos, California


Equipment Maintenance coordinator is a key member of the site Engineering department who is responsible for coordinating and participate as needed, on tasks related to maintaining, calibrating and improving company equipment and tooling. Along with overseeing preventive maintenance and calibration activities and scheduling per established cycles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Successful preparation of technical status reports, quality documents and forms pertaining to Preventive Maintenance and Calibration databases and/or controls.

  • Perform activities as Calibration and Preventive Maintenance schedule keeper (i.e. CAMA Coordinator) and ensures all records are logged and store on time and correctly according to procedure

  • Schedules, receives quotations, and submits purchase order requests to external calibration labs.

  • Escorts calibration vendors within the facility while they perform on-site calibrations.

  • Participates in departmental meetings, providing upcoming schedules and KPI statuses

  • Tracks and logs equipment moving in and out of storage

  • Support/Point of contact during internal/external audits, as well as, CAPAs.

  • Support engineering department on equipment, fixtures and tooling inductions and validations.

  • Create and participates on equipment induction, Work Instructions creations and procedures as needed.

  • Creates ECOs to properly document activities around his/her area of responsibility.

  • Participates on preventive maintenance activities as needed.

  • Supports Manufacturing Process engineering department on instructions, process routes and improvement activities.

  • Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all company Quality policies, procedures and compliance regulations.

  • Perform some clerical duties as needed such as filing, photocopying, scanning and collating.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Good documentation skills and the ability to work independently and in team environment.

  • Must possess English communication skills sufficient to understand verbal and written instructions, write documentation and rework instructions and participate fully in departmental team meetings and required training classes.

  • Solid organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail

  • Reliable, resourceful and flexible personality.

  • Able to work with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to handle difficult situations and strong personalities.


  • AA degree or equivalent and 1-2 years of Technical Administrative experience.

  • Engineering background and/or Quality Management System experience a plus.

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and experience with graphics programs.
