Program Manager - Supportive Living Services

An essential services firm in the home healthcare/intellectual disabilities services field has an immediate need for a Program Manager. Under supervision of our Director of SLS Operations, this position manages and oversees all activities involving the Case Managers, Direct Care Staff, external agencies, families, clients, and circle of support in their assigned in their region/location. This is an exempt position that requires candidate to work typical business hours (M-F, 9-5pm), but also be available to respond to client and team needs that may take place outside of those hours.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides over-site of the day-to-day operation and direct supervision of staff as assigned.

  • Manage Budget, Forecasting & Client Projection monthly for assigned county.

  • Assists with hiring, performance evaluation and progressive disciplinary actions

  • Manages the supervision and evaluation of service delivery quality and content program to clients.

  • Identify and coordinates quality improvement activities (year-round auditing)

  • Coordinates and ensures staff and the program's daily activities are completed efficiently.

  • Attends all County/community meetings, as assigned, provides leadership, and communicates all information with appropriate staff in a timely manner.

  • Reviews charts weekly with Case Managers to ensure audit-ready charts

  • Research, compile and analyze data for special personnel projects, reports, & audits.

  • Assist in conducting audits of various related programs & recommends any corrective action.

  • Must maintain current working knowledge of Supported Living Services Federal & State laws.

  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while expanding opportunities for persons serviced to participate in community life as they choose

  • Assist Director of Operations with various research projects and/ special projects

  • Collaboration with Director of Operations on advocating, promoting, and meeting new client's goals.

  • Maintains a prominent level of confidentiality.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred, but AA or HS Diploma combined with years of experience will be considered.

Experience:

2 years of Conflict Resolution/Crisis Management experience

2 years of experience as Supervisor/Manager in similar profession

3 years of experience working with Mental Health/Intellectual Disabilities or direct care work experience with similar population

Knowledge/Skills: Organization, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills. Proficient writing and grammar skills. Creative thinking. Familiarities with Regional Centers, Service Coordinators, and community resources for individuals with intellectual disabilities are a plus.
