As a Pricing Analyst, for the Consumer Product Group (CPG), you will play a key role in driving price optimization across a broad range of products. You will work closely with pricing leads, finance and operations to establish pricing models, metrics and monitoring techniques such that pricing execution is aligned with business plan strategies.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develop, evaluate, implement and monitor pricing strategies and models based upon near-term business and competitive market dynamics
Extract pricing, cost, pricelist, guidance, and competitive data from various sources within CPG and coalesce into a visual set of dashboard reports that will help influence price setting activities based on real-time market and competitive actions
Conduct research and perform competitive pricing analysis and communicate to all stakeholders within and external to CPG.
Close collaboration with business partners to find opportunities for price optimization
Create/administer pricing databases
Ensure vital pricing controls and monitor to enable and drive optimum pricing performance to meet business objectives
Partner and contribute to cross business unit pricing policies
Successful candidates for this position will have:
Experience with retail pricing analytics
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business and 5+ years in similar or related field
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools and SQL
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent project management skills and ability to balance multiple tasks
Proven track record to influence and challenge outcomes to get results
Strong communication, consulting, interpersonal and presentation skills
Experience with ModelN, Tableau, Altryx, PowerBI visualization tools a plus
