DESCRIPTION: is looking for a Senior Solution Consultant/Pre-Sales engineer to partner with the sales team. The Solution Consultant owns all technical activities required throughout the sales cycle. Solutions Consultants create highly engaging demonstrations, along with architecture presentations and custom use cases to solve prospects business challenges. This position requires hands-on work with the product and the ability to build sophisticated software demonstrations, as well as the ability to deliver compelling presentations to clients and prospects.


  • Plan and execute sales campaigns and prospect demonstrations in conjunction with sales executives globally.

  • Propose custom use case driven demonstrations to solve the challenges of the prospects and target accounts.

  • Deliver demonstrations to meet the scope and functionality required and product differentiators are highlighted to prospect effectively.

  • Assist in the production of RFPs and other proposals to clients.

  • Collaborate with product managers to influence product roadmap decisions.

  • Build strong ?trusted advisor? relationships with target accounts.

  • Work with development to build a demonstration environment that can be used by the global sales team including demo scenarios, content supporting multiple logistics and supply chain verticals. Also requires coordination with engineering and operations to achieve timeline or workload constraints.

  • Provide leadership regarding process improvements of pre-sales organization to support the global sales team.

  • Able to articulate and logically communicate concepts with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to include technical and business concepts.


  • 5 + years in a comparable pre-sales position supporting the sales cycle for Supply Chain and Logistics SaaS software solutions

  • Previous experience selling to Logistic Service Providers, 3PL, Freight Forwarders and Global Ocean Shippers - Preferred

  • Previous pre-sales experience in one or more ERP, Supply Chain, WMS, and/or TMS solutions - Preferred

  • Solid presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven track record of increasing deal size and accelerating the buying process.

  • Successful quota achievement.

  • Technology Skills:

  • Experience in handling document formats like EDI, XML, JSON

  • Experience working with HTTP APIs, especially as they relate to third-party integrations

  • Experience with Node, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript scripting

  • Ability to rapidly grasp new concepts
