Shea Labagh Dobberstein’s CORRE ACCOUNTING SOLUTIONS seeks an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper/Small Business Accountant to manage the books for a collection of small businesses and family offices, providing superior client service along the way. SLD’s CORRE Accountants provide year-round accounting services: Collecting, Organizing, Recording, Reporting, and Evaluating our clients’ financial data. Come join our growing team!
AP: Vendor management, including entering and coding vendor payables
AR: Create and deliver client invoices and assist with collections
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly
Assist with payroll processing as needed
Assist with month-end close processes and reconciling all balance sheet accounts
Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements for Manager review
Seek out opportunities to reduce manual entries and increase efficiency
Proactively anticipate clients’ needs and propose solutions to current or future challenges
Candidate Must Have
Excellent understanding of all the general ledger accounts and ability to identify errors
Previous work experience closing the books monthly and generating month-end financials
Experience creating and updating monthly schedules as needed
Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
Professional presence and an interest in developing relationships with the clients we serve
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple clients and deadlines
Desired Skills and Experience
Accounting degree or certification
QuickBooks and Bill.com experience/certification highly preferred
Experience with Sales & Use tax filings
Expensify experience or certification
Payroll software experience or certification
Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, v-lookups, data extracts, etc.)
