Gilmartin Group ESG Specialist in San Francisco Bay Area, California
Gilmartin Group is a rapidly growing strategic consulting firm focused on the healthcare sector. Our primary areas of expertise are working with emerging growth companies to create and execute investor relations strategies and providing IPO/capital markets advisory services. We have roughly 100 clients spanning all sectors of healthcare with our client companies? market capitalization ranging from $20 million to $20 billion.
We are actively building out an ESG Advisory Program as in integral part of our efforts to help our clients attract capital and create durable shareholder value.
We are seeking proven business leaders to spearhead the buildout of our ESG Advisory Program. The ideal candidates should have a proven track record of success in building, sustaining and growing business and should have a strong background in Wall Street, ESG, and/or corporate governance. The successful candidates will identify and pitch new client business opportunities, execute ESG projects and timelines, and manage long term updates to corporate responsibility reports and data.

Responsibilities
Refine marketing materials describing our ESG Advisory Program
Work collaboratively with other senior members to identify and strategize on current and new client ESG projects
Educate c-suite teams on ESG landscape and evolving trends
Execute ESG Advisory Program deliverables ? project manage process from initial materials construct, timeline, data collection, end-product creation and public dissemination
Monitor ESG industry news and guideline developments to anticipate client impact and needs
Monitor ESG views and developments in the Financial Services sector; keeping up with leading investment firms views, edicts and appeals to corporations
Serve as ESG subject matter expert, and resource, within Gilmartin and with ESG engaged clients
Manage and mentor support staff for day-to-day client needs
Job Requirements/Qualifications
4+ years of related experience in ESG, corporate governance or related Wall Street field
Knowledge of ESG rating agency (Sustainalytics, MSCI, ISS, etc.) and disclosure framework (SASB, TCFD, IIRC, UN, etc.) evaluation criteria for Healthcare companies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to articulate complex strategies and ESG related terms for a generalist audience
Project management experience ? track record of working with C-level executives and board members
Travel as needed for new business and on-site client activities
