Job Description

CoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks Senior Software Developers to design and develop high-performance software applications that scale CoStar’s multi-datacenter production environment. Develop back-end applications that handle traffic volume across CoStar’s web and mobile products. Write unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality software delivery. Leverage automation testing methods to increase test coverage and build confidence in CoStar’s continuous delivery pipeline. Explore emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices.

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with software design, development, testing, and implementation. Experience must include a minimum of: 1 year of experience developing web and windows based applications; 1 year of experience with gathering and analyzing technical requirements using optimization tools; 1 year of experience with software development life cycle; 1 year of experience with developing acceptance test specifications, tracking defects, and advanced debugging; 1 year of experience with writing unit tests, and manual and automated testing; and 1 year of experience with AJAX, ASP, code review, C#, CSS, data modeling, design patterns, Fiddler, HTML, JSON, JavaScript, JQuery, MVC, Net remoting, object-oriented programming, SQL Server, TFS, T-SQL, Web APIs, and XML.
