TEKsystems Lean Business Portfolio Manager in San Antonio, Texas
Job Description • Ensures effective financial and resource management of overall portfolio over Member Operational Data initiatives and efforts, assisting in managing portfolio expenses to achieve business value. • Defines and maintains program, change, and communication strategies commensurate with the level of risk, size and complexity. • Responsible for developing multi-year business plans to deliver business capabilities and define execution approach to achieve business goal while reducing risk and delivering early business value. • Establishes and manages critical path by mapping out and managing work effort scheduling and interdependencies based on constraints and risks. • Facilitates Portfolio Management Executives to define prioritization and sequencing of work efforts within portfolio, as applicable. • Monitors and makes decisions pertinent to scope changes as needed. • Reviews and resolves risk and issue escalations for portfolio, identifies need for escalations as needed. • Reviews health and performance of portfolio regularly and identifies performance improvement opportunities • Directs analyses, root cause identification and development and recommendation of key work products. • Communicates regularly with Executive Sponsors, Program Sponsors, business owners, and additional stakeholders as required. • Ensures compliance of Portfolio with company and regulatory policies and procedures. • Applies proficient knowledge of the business, its products and processes to assess program risks and rewards across multiple technologies and business goals. • Negotiates agreements, settles disputes equitably and diffuses situations. • Negotiates program tradeoffs with IT and the business as the program develops to ensure alignment of demand to capacity. • Prepares content for and facilitates Monthly Business Reviews, Finances & Operations delivery reviews, meetings with executive management project sponsors to define solutions.
