Ideal candidates are strong team players, willing to work collaboratively and driven to continuous development.We are looking for a EHS Technician to work in our San Antonio facility. This role will be responsible for conducting tests and inspections regarding work areas & conditions, machinery, & equipment for compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.


Ensures the availability, readiness and proper use of required accident prevention procedures, safety and fire prevention equipment, protective clothing/devices, and first aid supplies

Recommends and follows up to verify the implementation of corrective actions

Maintains records on safety inspections and inventory of safety & fire equipment and devices

Oversees the storage, use, and recording of all hazardous materials

Maintains and audits MSDS

Follows procedures to monitor health and safety at designated locations such as ergonomics, air quality, and waste disposal

Knows, applies, and documents state, OSHA, and federal regulations in order to identify problems and finds solutions

Manages safe work procedures and trains personnel

Develops and disseminates manuals and documentation around health and safety


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering & 4 to 6 years of experience preferred

  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter

  • Identifies complex issues and is solution based, elevating as necessary

  • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group

  • Performs under minimal supervision demonstrating attentiveness, organizational skills, and leadership

  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours based on company needs

  • Must be able to perform physical requirements of job including but not limited to sitting and/or standing through duration of shift, lifting up to 50 lbs., and climbing of ladders
