South Texas Blood & Tissue Center (STBTC) at http://southtexasblood.org/ , a subsidiary of BioBridge Global, is a not-for-profit community blood center specializing in various services to include providing blood, plasma, platelets, and other blood components to numerous hospitals in 43 South Texas counties. STBTC is a community partner focused on enhancing health care through innovation and stewardship.
This position engagement will last up to six months.
Work Schedule :10:30 am - 7:00 pm Monday - Friday and
8:30 am - 5:00 pm Saturday and Sundays
Training Schedule :8:30 am - 5:00 pm - Two weeks only.
Responsible for meeting and/or exceed telephone recruitment goals by scheduling donors for donations.

Provide world-class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the customer's voice (including donors) through established feedback channels to resolve issues and drive satisfaction by the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Telephone recruit and schedule donors to meet and/or exceed required goals.
Answer telephone, take messages, and direct incoming calls appropriately.
Manage time wisely to ensure efficient and productive telephone contacts.
Maintain accurate donor files and update the status on the computer.
Must have knowledge and ability to schedule all applicable procedures.
Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
Perform computer data entry. Performs other duties as assigned.
Assist other departments with clerical support as needed.
Requires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
No prior work experience is required.
Prefer telephone and/or customer service experience.
Must maintain knowledge of and perform according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies. Must become familiar with daily blood needs to convey the necessity of donating to the potential donor.
Must acquire a working knowledge of general work procedures, donor qualifications, paperwork, blood types, the blood donation process, and donation procedures.
Must be capable of performing long and short term goals.
Must have strong computer skills.
Must have excellent telephone and/or email etiquette skills.
Must be a self-starter and self-directed worker.
Must be able to keep the information confidential. Must be neat in appearance and well-groomed.
Must be professional, organized, detail-oriented, communicative, and have the ability to greet the public in a friendly and courteous manner.
Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned, and heated office. May be exposed to electrical and chemical hazards and other conditions common to an office environment. May be required to work at any time of the day, evening or night during the week or weekend.
Will sit, stand, walk, and bend during working hours.
Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Required to lift and carry relatively light materials.
Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing corrected to a normal range.
