Hunt Electric, Inc. of Salt Lake City, UT is searching for a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team within the Traffic and Infrastructure Division. Can you work in a team environment with other employees to assist in equipment operations on various construction sites? A strong background in underground utility, trench excavation, dry utility conduit systems, and utility vault placements is a must. Additionally, a thorough understanding of excavation equipment, support resources, safety requirements (OSHA), and means and methods is required. The ideal candidate for this position has additional experience in electrical and communication systems. The Heavy Equipment Operator will assist in running construction equipment to build roadway projects, street lighting, underground utilities, and electrical and communication systems. A qualified individual will also be responsible for setting vaults and performing light concrete work, including pole foundations. This Heavy Equipment Operator position receives a competitive salary commensurate with experience and position responsibilities.
