Handstands Promo, LLC Inventory Analyst in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

We are looking for an Inventory Analyst to work closely with our Supply Chain. Our Inventory Analyst collects data and uses methods to predict and improve the delivery of products and services to our customers. As an inventory analyst, your job will be to create efficiencies and reduce costs throughout the supply chain. This role is expected to use financial, sales and inventory statistics to perform analyses to determine which products are selling the most and which are under-performing to ensure company profitability. Responsibilities: *Responsible for managing a global supply plan for assigned products to maximize service levels to customers and optimize working capital spend *Execute deployment - allocation in short supply situations - translate business & inventory needs into supply requirements *Research and acquire new suppliers when necessary *Ensures timely collection and review of the appropriate information required to accurately determine production plan *Interface with all demand planners and supply planners for assessment and understanding of their needs *Update MRPs with sales and forecast data. *Analyze sales trends and MRP output; create and present data during weekly buy meetings with sales teams for planning purposes *Ensure all deliveries satisfy the assigned PO requirements; report and resolve any back-ordered, delayed or missing products *Communicate quality issues to suppliers and request compensation as required *Support continuous improvement and cost reduction or efficiency initiatives of the assigned platform *Support the business strategy from a supply chain point of view; consolidate and challenge input for planning processes *Work with supply chain teams to achieve an optimal distribution network and maintain a key coordination point with warehouse management and logistics functions *Other responsibilities as communicated by manager Requirements *Experienced and demonstrated working knowledge of ERP/SAP/MRP systems *Strong background in data analytics and NetSuite preferred *Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, QlikView, Tableau, etc.) a plus *Strong interpersonal skills required in the areas of verbal and written communications, customer focus and professionalism *Strong listening, questioning, problem-solving and assessment skills *Must have knowledge of demand, supply, and capacity planning *Demonstrated customer-centric focus *Detail-oriented individual with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities *Proficient in the use of MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, graphs and macros is a plus Education and Experience: *Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Operations preferred *Minimum of 5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience *Must possess an impeccable attention to detail *Proactive in issue resolution Physical Requirements: *Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer *Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds throughout workday *Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both low and high during cycle counting; requiring bending, reaching, stooping, climbing and other aspects of warehouse work deemed necessary to complete tasks Position and Type of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM. Scheduling flexibility required to accommodate workload.
