The Department of Family and Preventive Medicine, Division of Family Medicine, is looking for outstanding physician educators to join our multi-disciplinary faculty. We are committed to excellence in patient care, the highest standard of training for medical students and residents, and participation in multi-disciplinary scholarship. 1. Board certification by The American Board of Family Medicine
2. Unrestricted Utah State medical license
3. Experience in clinical medicine, teaching and scholarship is preferred.
4. Spanish language proficiency preferred
0.1 FTE – Education and scholarship
o Scholarly projects
o Teaching in didactic and small group formats
o Mentorship and evaluation of residents
0.1 FTE – Clinic attending of residents
0.8 FTE – Direct patient care activities
Obstetrics practice is required with this position. Clinical resources include:
In-house back up from the University of Utah Department of OB- GYN
Manageable call schedules
Favorable malpractice environment
