Position Profile :

Circuit Card Assembler with the ability to perform a wide variety of moderate to complex manufacturing functions. Qualified individual must be able to interpret technical and detailed specifications in support of circuit card assemblies (CCA) used in intelligence, surveillance, and imagery processing high performance data link systems and products for L3Harris.

Competencies: Qualified Circuit Card Assembler will have the ability to use independent judgment while performing a variety of manufacturing tasks and processes.

  • Capability of developing good soldering skills

  • Ability to work from both oral and written instructions, engineering drawings, blueprints, on surface mount and thru-hole circuit cards and the applicable components

  • Correctly identify surface mount and through hole components

  • Be computer literate with the ability to communicate and comprehend effectively (verbally and written), and be detail oriented while contributing in a team environment

  • Individual must be able to work under a microscope for long periods of time

  • Knowledge and experience with automated assembly and inspection equipment is a plus


  • This position requires a High School Diploma or GED

  • Preferably two (2) years of soldering experience directly applicable to circuit card assembly preferred

  • An understanding of and/or certification to the IPC-610 criteria and J-Std-001 is a plus

  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Internet browsers required

Special Requirements:

  • Due to the nature of our work this position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense clearance (including COMSEC)

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain certifications as required for employment with L3 Technologies for L3 products and as a circuit card assembler

  • Work locations near perishable and hazardous chemicals, solder cleaning solvents, etc.

  • Position requires the ability to lift 40 lbs

  • Overtime is required as necessary.

  • Shift work, nights, rotating days, weekends and holidays may also be required when necessary

This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the successful applicants’ skills, education and experience.
