Psomas Civil Engineer - Designer - Water Infrastructure in Salt Lake City, Utah

Equally important, is our commitment to social sustainability in our business practices towards our employees, business partners and clients.Your RoleAs a Civil Designer on our Water Resources team, you will assist with hydrology and hydraulic calculations and report preparation. Other responsibilities include stormwater design and planning on both public and private projects, field verification of existing infrastructure and assisting managers in executing projects.Responsibilities: Providing technical expertise in the preparation of studies and technical reports Understand client goals and communicate effectively with an attention to client satisfaction Preparing drainage and water quality plans Developing project scopes and budgets Maintaining project files, project documents and as-built schedulesRequired Qualifications: BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering/Hydrology/Hydraulic related field 1-3 years of Hydrology/Hydraulic/Civil Engineering experience Experience with software packages including HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, FLO-2D, HY-8 and XPSWMM. Strong written/verbal skills related to hydrology, hydraulics and drainage design and report preparation. Arizona Engineer-in-Training certification (or in process of obtaining EIT) Experience in AutoCAD and Civil3D is preferred.
