The Weapons Production Support and Sustainment group is seeking an individual to join the Cruise Missile / Direct Attack Test Engineering Support Team. The successful candidate will be responsible to provide real-time operational support and technical expertise in the testing and troubleshooting of a variety of Missile and Weapon related products. The Team supports the production and rework of Harpoon and SLAM ER Missiles, Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM), Laser JDAM sensors (LJDAM) and Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) products. Operations are being conducted on a two shift bases (first and second). Job requirements include supporting the Automated Test Stations used to test the integrity of the missile and weapons components. Experience in support of a union production test environment utilizing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) is considered a plus but is not required.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Good communication skills, self-motivation and the ability to work well with others as a team.

  • This position will require software and hardware troubleshooting and repair on both old and new test stations, development of solutions for obsolescence issues, maintaining test equipment configuration documentation and the following of documented processes and procedures.

  • Flexibility to support operations as required on a first or second shift basis.

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Education):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronics and electrical systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Setup/Programming

  • Understanding of basic software architectures and general syntax of coding languages such as C+ Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.


This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
