MANAGER TRAINEEPosition Summary:The Manager Trainee Program involves hands-on training that takes place in one of our many facilities. This program involves learning about Midwest Manufacturing and the products we make, as well as capitalizing on your education to help you develop into an effective and successful manager!As a Manager Trainee, you will oversee all aspects of our busy manufacturing facilities. You will learn everything from how our products are manufactured and how our equipment operates to how to manage supply and demand and maintain a balance between payroll and sales. This position will give you a chance to utilize your problem-solving abilities to help make good business decisions for the company. Midwest Manufacturing believes strongly in promotion from within.With support and training from your managers and fellow Team Members, along with a willingness to relocate, you will be ready in a very short time to take the next step in a successful management career.Primary Responsibilities:emProduction/emulliEnsure that all product is built in the most efficient way/liliEnsure that all orders are filled within an acceptable lead time./liliParticipate in setting and evaluating production quotas, both quantity and quality/liliManage and lead Team Members in your area/liliWork with supervisors and managers in your area to accomplish goals/liliCome up with innovative ideas to improve current processes/li/ulemFacility Maintenance and Utilization/emulliKeep all production facilities in good repair, orderly, and clean/liliUse equipment to capacity to fill orders/li/ulemSafety/emulliEnsure all safety policies are enforced, all training is up to date, and all equipment is guarded and well maintained./liliKeep all safety training and maintenance documented/liliKeep open communication with all Team Members regarding safety issues/li/ulAttain the highest profit dollars possibleBalance inventory and reduce stock to ensure maximum turn and in-stock position.emPosition Requirements/em:ulliBachelorrsquo;s Degree in a manufacturing, engineering, or management-related field preferred OR equivalent management experience/liliWilling and able to relocate to other plant locations for promotions/liliAble to establish and maintain effective working relationships/liliAnalytical and Interpersonal skills/liliLeadership abilities/liliSelf-motivated and Goal-oriented/liliInnovative/li/ul
