WSP is currently initiating a search for a System Requirements Audit Manager to be based at our Sacramento, CA program office.

Under the Direction of the Deputy Director of Network Integration and Program Compliance, this position serves as the Quality expert and Audit Manager. The System Requirements Audit Manager is responsible for organizing and managing internal audits, as well as the contractor’s audit, per the audit plan, that the System Requirements Audit Manager submits to the Authority. The responsibilities of System Requirements Audit Manager include overseeing the process of audits, making recommendations on policies, and ensuring that the organization fulfills international, governmental, and Program obligations of compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides Quality and Audit management and administration services including coordinating and developing internal auditing processes, developing and implementing policies and procedures, manage coordination between Rail and Operations Delivery and Quality Management Team, and advising the Rail and Operations team.

  • Develops and implements conformance audits for the Rail program and provides support to users.

  • Supervising and conducting independent audits and site inspections, drafting recommendations on corrective measures, and preparing analysis for departments.

  • Manages day-to-day database of Non-Conformance and Inspections/Audits observations with the relevant technical experts and contract manager(s)

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+ years of hands-on Railroad Infrastructure, system design or construction, or Rolling Stock design.

  • Degree in System Engineering, Civil Engineering, Railroad System Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience in Auditing in the Railway industry.

  • Knowledge on requirements management and administration.

  • Solid knowledge of regulations and guidelines.

  • A record of success in internal and external audits.

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of ISO standards and MS Office suite.

  • A qualification or certification as an Auditor.
