div bspanGENERAL SUMMARY:/span/bspanPerform radiological mammography exams, assist clerical staff in the maintenance of records and files, and schedule appointments and register patients./spanbspanESSENTIAL DUTIES:span /spanspan /span/span/bspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanPerforms mammography exams, needle localization, and biopsy films./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanAssists in care and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and supplies./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanMaintains exam rooms, patients' waiting room and work area in clean, orderly, and safe condition./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanDisplays superior interpersonal skills with patients and peers./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanMonitors patients during procedures to ensure patient safety./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanVerify correct patient, correct exam, final verification, and correct exam charge in EPIC./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanReports any hazardous conditions or equipment breakdown immediately to supervisor./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanAttends all required safety training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job-related hazards./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanFollows the hospital exposure control plans/bloodborne and airborne pathogens./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanDemonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous Hospital environment./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanPromotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team inter and intra departmentally to facilitate the department's/unit's ability to meet its goals and objectives. /spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanMaintains and pursues professional development per ARRT requirements./spanbspanSTANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:/span/bbspanEducation / Training:span /span/span/bspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanARRT registered in radiology mammography and current state license required./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanGraduate of an approved two-year program preferred./spanbspanWork Experience:span /span/span/bspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanThree to five years' general radiography experience preferred./spanspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanTwo to three years of current mammography experience preferred./spanbspanCertification, Licensure, Registration: /span/bspanspan*span /span/span/spanspanAART registered in radiology mammography./spanspanspan*
