Shady Grove Fertility NextGen Systems Specialist (Remote) in Rockville, Maryland

This position will oversee and maintain PM systems as a functional administrator and will ensure field operations are executed in a streamlined and efficient manner providing leadership and guidance to field teammates. This role is responsible for new site implementation and on-going maintenance of NextGen PM and associated ancillary applications, optimizing utilization in a standardized and effective manner. The NextGen Systems Specialist will be responsible for planning and implementing PM workflows and administration of these activities to ensure compliance with company's best practice standards. In addition to administration of systems, responsibilities include testing, validating and assisting with implementation of RCM processes, workflows and system upgrades.

We have an immediate opening for a full-time NextGen Systems Specialist. The schedule is Monday through Friday, day time hours. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.

How You'll Contribute:

We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the NextGen Systems Specialist is responsible for:

  • Ability to build strategic working relationships. Develops collaborative relationships with field team members to facilitate the accomplishment of work and drive metrics.

  • Collaborates with operations and integrations serving as a key partner in the planning and roll out of new practices.

  • Examine processes to ensure accuracy and conformance to standard policy and procedures. Proactive in identifying areas for improvement, recommending solutions and developing field team members.

  • Act as liaison between field team members and RCM leadership; monitor field performance and ensure quality assurance standards and benchmarks are met.

  • Maintain and update NextGen File Maintenance, including by not limited to: providers, locations, master lists, tasks & task workgroups.

  • Possess and apply comprehensive knowledge of the field RCM operations including patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification and point of service collections, billing, payment posting, denial management and bad debt processes.

  • Travel between sites is required periodically.

    What You'll Bring:

    The skills and education we need are:

  • Associates degree (2 year degree program) required; BS in Business Administration, healthcare administration, or business management preferred

  • Proficient in software products, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and sequel

  • Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Preferred

  • Experience with NextGen system training and support required.

  • Prior experience working in healthcare setting, specifically Revenue Cycle Management.

  • 3 years training experience in PM applications; prior experience in a supervisory role or related experience.
