DRIVE FOR XNG! NO FREIGHT! DROP & HOOK! HOME EVERY DAY!TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver full Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) tanker trailers to customer sites and return empty trailers to terminals for refilling Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on tractors and trailers Follow company procedures when delivering trailers and connecting them to the customer equipment as well as when detaching empty trailers Assist the terminal staff in refueling CNG tractors and CNG trailers As needed, work with company engineers to troubleshoot or identify issues at the customer site Identify trailers and tractors with out of order defects and coordinate with the Fleet Manager to get that equipment repaired and returned to service Perform minor repairs on tractors and trailers, as needed Responsible for general upkeep and cleanliness of company tractor and trailers, including use of power-washers and cleaning supplies to keep equipment as clean as possible Comply with the driver policies and procedures manual and all federal and state regulations as they regard to the operation of commercial vehicles REQUIREMENTS: CDL-A license with tanker and hazmat endorsement (or willingness to get them - we reimburse for the hazmat fee if hired) 2 years experience (1.5 if prior experience hauling fuels) Clean driving record is required; no at-fault accidents in the last three years Solid work history in positions that require adherence to procedures and attention to detail Good work ethic and ability to work conscientiously and with limited supervision Ability to communicate professionally with terminal staff, customers, and the public Mechanical aptitude or maintenance experience is preferred Prior experience with compressed gas or hazardous materials preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to pass DOT physical and maintain valid DOT medical card certification Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing requirements Ability to sit and drive for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 50lbs at customer site and/or station, as neededPosition / Job DescriptionThis description is for internal use only and does not get posted to external job boards or display on the landing page.
