Reporting To: General Manager: Responsible For (Staff): Supervises 1-10 employees
Lead the Business Unit Operations Team to provide an industry leading customer experience and ensure achievement of the site's goals and objectives. Ensure best practices and standardization across business units. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve financial and operational performance. This position is a member of the Site Leadership Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all Business Unit (BU) activities to deliver the industry leading customer experience
Lead, coach, and develop team to achieve high expectations set forth in goals & objectives
Allocate customer accounts and resources appropriately to support the business within budget
Resource global account management as needed in alignment with OnePCI
Deliver quality compliance through data accuracy and tracking of CAPAs, change controls, and training
Ensure Business Unit Managers & Project Managers are being solution providers for customers
Oversee & support product launches, artwork changes, and other customer projects to meet or exceed customer expectations
Serve as final BU Escalation Point for issues/concerns
Build relationships with customers and support Business Review meetings
Partner with New Product Introduction (NPI) team to ensure customers have a seamless transition
Implement and ensure best practices are adhered to through standard work and health checks across business units and the New Product Introduction team
Partner with Operations, Procurement, and other function support teams to drive contribution and gross margin improvements
Embrace a CI mindset and drive BU improvements to reduce and simplify efforts
Utilize metrics to drive improvements & report out on progress on weekly Site Leadership Team meeting
Oversee customer forecast and partner with Site leaders for supply and demand planning
Maintain, approve and achieve sales forecasts & outlooks
Drive improvements in procurement practices to reduce inventory on hand
Financial oversight of invoicing making sure all services are billed timely per the approved quote
Support the annual budgeting process through alignment with Business Development on top line sales, and providing headcount, departmental expenses, and any capital expenditure requests.
Responsible for maintaining expenses within the approved budget
Partner with Business Development to drive sales growth and close deals, travel to client sites as needed.
This position may require travel by airplane, train, or car up to 15% of the year.
This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
Attendance to work is an essential function of this position
